Ordnance band has risen to the top in the new revival of the Beijing heavy metal scene. In 2000 Ordnance band began performing in full swing in venues throughout Beijing. They have since performed at some of the most important venues in Beijing and throughout China. They have continued to gain fame and respect not only in the Beijing rock scene but also throughout China. Ordnance has become one of China's most famous heavy metal bands. Their music is typical of the new wave of Chinese power metal inspired by Pantera and other famous heavy metal bands, but their lyrics and sounds are powerful and unique. In 2005, after six years together they released their first CD entitled Struggle. Since the release of their CD they have continued to grow in fame and prestige and in October embarked on a month long nation-wide tour, gaining fains throughout the whole of China.
In October 2005, they performed during the Midi Music Festival 2005.
August 9th 2009, they performed during the InMusic Festival 2009 on the Zhangbei Grasslands on the Main Stage.
