History

The band Yang Guang renamed itself in 2000 to Apple Jam, but had several lineup changes before it came to a stable lineup in 2001 with an average age of 20.

Later in 2001, they produced their first demo and on June 2nd, they performed in Anyang's convention hall during the “為申奥加油科龍之夜原創揺滾演唱会” event. Further that year they toured around China, visiting 9 cities with 15 performances.

In 2002, members of Apple Jam formed the band Jie Pou.

In September 2002, a song of Apple Jam was included in the So Rock! Magazine (no. 13).

September 28th, they performed during the “2002大張原創揺滾音楽節” event.

March 26th 2003, they performed in the Luoyang Normal and Research College.

In August their demo Apple Jam was released.

September 3rd, they performed in the Tianjin College of Finance and Economy, in Tianjin.

Later in 2003, the band broke up and resumed activities in 2006. In between, 2004, So Rock! Records included a song of Apple Jam in their compilation So Ballads! (VA).
