History
The term 'half minus seven' is a term of playing technique for guitars.
Originally started out as an side project just for fun, Xia Yan found this band together with scene friends in 2004. Over all the years while China's best new-hopefull guitar player Xia Yan kept himself busy as session musician, book author and actor/model, he never let down this project which became more and more serious as his main band, where he can freely express his impressions and imaginations with music without the need to fit-in requirements by others.
乐队成立于04年，成员全部是由混迹于音乐圈多年的音乐人组成，这只所谓的“玩票”乐队，在几经波折之后终于确定了最终的人员组合，由夏炎担任主唱和吉他，崔凯是贝斯手，鼓手则是凌霄。这支乐队组建最根本的愿望就是做自己喜欢的音乐，用自己的原创音乐去记录生活，表达自己的感受。他们是快乐的，起码在做他们自己音乐的时候。他们用顽皮的心态去面对现实，以看似妥协的方式继续自己得梦想。
