History

Founded in December 2008 in Beijing, Hell Savior (地藏冥王) is a metal group from Beijing that incorporates classical Chinese music into its act. Coming together at the Beihang University (Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics), they aim to soar into the skies, just like their idols Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Motörhead, Scorpions etc. Signed to Dying Art Underground Production their debut album revealed a rather rare mix of solid heavy metal with proto thrash approaches, at least the vocalist doesnt hide himself behind those generally overused hardcore growls like other bands and raises the flag of good old heavy metal up high.
