History

The band name Luktomo is the homophonic of the name of one Chinese traditional buddha, which is signifying mercy and kindness.

The band established in Guangzhou China in late 2009.

Now the 5 members are consisting of lead vocalist Liu Ke (刘柯, Hardcore), guitarist Zou Di (邹迪, 四会DEE), guitarist Li Jian Feng (李剑锋, 东莞ADEE), drummer Sun Ming Zhe (孙明哲), bass player Lin Jia Qing (林家庆, 人渣, Jimmy) .

In the process of growing and development , Luktomo keep writing songs mainly with genres of SCREAMO / POST HARDCORE / METALCORE, and experimenting with anything new to the music, and the lyric is mostly about our life experiences with our point of view, which is full of reality, ordinary, and simpleness. Peace and Love.

From May to Oct 2009, Luktomo finished 4 songs which were included in the first DIY EP – [Records] released in 6 Nov 2010.

From 2010-2011, Luktomo performed over 60 shows at Perl River Delta region, all over GuangZhou, ShenZhen, ZhuHai, HongKong, Macao etc, including all kinds of Music Festival and Live show, with both foreign and domestic bands.

1 Jan 2012 , Luktomo first MV – [Escape Alive] released.
