History
Formed late 2011 in Shanghai, Rank Moist Vegetation immediately started rehearsing, and after going through six different lineups have settled on their current one. They then changed their band name to Stalin Gardens. The describe their sound as the sound of millions of crashing chandeliers over Balinese ricefields. As influences, they have cited Swans, SPK, The Birthday Party, Coil, Prurient, and Simon & Garfunkel. They are currently recording an EP, which they will release for free on their website.
