It all starts from two people making the plan that does not make any sense.
In mid-September 2008, the guitarist Jmf Lee, who got expelled from the band and the bass player David J. Chiang had met and became close friends. They were born on the same day and also had very similar and incredibly crazy idea, after a period of time of discussion, they decided to ask Mike Cao, the one that's as crazy as them, to join the band. Therefore, the initial idea of the band, not only to integrate their respective preferences of music and self-understanding, shall also meet their weird habits and exaggerated character, in such an out of control October, triple smash had established.
The members had the same idea in treating their music since the beginning. They tried to use the most simple and brutal way to record every moment of their lives. The music that they create is full of energy and power, also include many different music styles that they enjoy for years, therefore, they have made the decision to express themselves by playing pure instrument. That’s why the music style of the band had been labeled as post-rock by people who liked them. Their manic hysterical performance status and attitude made them unique and had a great difference between other post-rock bands.
Triple Smash is about to release their first EP, with many excellent musicians and friends of their selfless assistance and support, Triple Smash will carry the EP and have a series of performances. If your attitude is strong and passionate enough, you must not miss it!
